Do you know when to replace brake shoes?

Update time:2022-09-22
While brake shoes may not need as frequent servicing as brake pads, they won't last forever. Just like brake pads, brake pads must be replaced regularly to avoid problems with the braking system, or worse, brake failure. Some brake shoes are designed to last thousands of miles, but driving habits, road conditions, and weather can affect the life of your brake components—whether you have disc brakes, drum brakes, or both!
Fortunately, checking the condition of your braking system is easy! Go to a repair shop near you for a free brake inspection. We will perform a visual inspection of the braking system, including front and rear brake components, brake fluid, master cylinder condition, brake lines and emergency braking. We will also do a test drive to check how well your braking system is working. Once the inspection is complete, we'll tell you what service or repair is recommended or needed to help your brakes run (and stop) smoothly!
